OUR STORY
The Global Artistry Council is a collective of experts whose goal is to have Texture seen and celebrated in all beauty industry spaces. The Council is the actualized vision, cultural experience, and community where texture is centered and recognized by all.
Founded by Tippi Shorter, Kauilani Goodwyn, and Pekela Riley in 2019, Global Artistry Council’s shared vision centers on textured excellence and equity of opportunity for all artists. As texture experts, We are three women who believe that there isn't enough cultural context, diverse curation, or equity of platforms in the beauty industry. These key DEI pillars of representation and equity provide opportunity, support, and education by not only bridging the gaps but elevating the texture-centered educational experience.
